Telephone Answer Service

We operate a 24 hour seven day telephone answering service, we answer calls to a script as per our customers requirements, we electronically log messages for retrieval by our customers verbally, by Fax or email. We also call-out staff, reroute calls and information and take orders for supply.

We intelligently vet calls for our customers route urgent or important calls accordingly, retraining less important information for action at a later date.

Some of our customers are : Local Bodies for all services, Roading for accidents, damage and flooding, Radio stations, Environmental Hot lines, Forest companies for managed forest access and for 1st response call outs and controlling Fires.

Our Manager Robyn Maxwell is SIMS level 4 trained, and we are working towards that certification for our other operators.

Our calls are all recorded in both directions.

Telephone Answering Service Prices

GST is NOT included in these prices.

We charge a base rate of $ 38.00 per month for Telecoms Direct Dial number rental and our internal accounting costs.

There is a $120.00 connection fee.

Each received call is billed at 95 cents per call, a further 95 cents is charged for transferring calls.

Telecom charges incurred by USN on your behalf (such as the cost of a transferred call to a Cell phone or toll number) are charged at a cost plus 15%

Message’s dispatched are charged as follows

  • Per Fax 50 cents
  • Per Pager 50 cents
  • Per Email 50 cents

GST is not included in these charges

Not included is any client specific software, Dairies, Modems or hardware such as radio sets, aerials, computers etc that clients may require us to use.

We can arrange for these items to be installed by our staff or clients may make these arrangements themselves.

We electronically log and record all calls, these recordings are not available outside of our office and are deleted automatically after a period of seven days.
